Walther is a great guy with loads of patience and ideas. We went there
for a few aircraft cargo rails (Zurrschienen) and ended up with a totally
new conversion of the kitchen area and our NEWEST sponsor. A big thank

A true English eccentric character, along with his brother and friend

Without
Toddi at T.car we would never have made good the Landy in time. Toddi
not only gave over part of his workshop and tools but his expert advice,

Sievers
are going international with their first transporter through Africa, Australia
and Asia. Thanks to Henning and Sabine Sievers for their very generous

fuel us all the way to Africa. We'll be sure to fly the Sievers flag along

Thanks to Jean and Wilhelm and his wife for all their help and assistance
with servicing, changing the timing belt, and providing spare parts for
our trip up the east coast to Europe. They provide excellent quality of
work and great friendship. If you need anything done to your Landie when
in Cape Town go nowhere else but here. They are based out in Wellington.
Outdoor
warehouse SA - A Big thank you to Claude and Outdoor warehouse in
Jo'berg. When our fridge developed a terminal case and was put on ice,
Claude and Outdoor warehouse donated a brand new Waeco fridge complete
with insulation jacket and spare cables. Amazing after sales service and
wonderful helpful and friendly people. You extra mile will keep us chilled

Awn SA - Thanks to Tony and Eezi Awn. One thing is for sure no other tent
and awning provider gives as good after sales service as Eezi Awn. By
far the best products and service. Thanks to Tony and Eezi Awn our roof
tent got a full renovation service and all free of charge. Thanks for
making our nights more comfortable again!!!
Maack Getranke - Probably the most
neglected part of any trip of this kind are the driver and navigator.
Whilst in the case of David, severe renovation is needed, the trusty folks
and friends at Maack Getranke have kindly donated plenty of oil to lubricate
the parts other beers cannot reach. Thanks to Maack for fuelling us on
our trip with plenty of Jever Pilsner Beer. We shall Prost you all in
the Sahara with an ice cold beer .....ah... utopia!!!
